What is Community Mediation?

Community mediation is voluntary process for two or more people (or groups) with a disagreement or conflict where they want a solution for now and in the future.

It’s for those who don’t see a legal victory as the best resolution when they are likely to go on living near each other.

Our trained mediators will help you. They will not take sides or make judgements. They will not provide the solution but will help you to do so.

Mediation is voluntary and anyone can withdraw at any stage.

If you’re not ready for mediation or the other party is not willing to take part, we can offer you a Talking Change Conversation with one of our mediators who will help you identify ways forward and help manage the situation. This could pave the way for a full mediation.
